Must See Movies: January 2016

Posted by Allison Cianci on 30th Dec 2015

Looking at all the movies coming out in 2016, there are too many good ones to fit into one blog post.  Just about every month has something you won't want to wait till DVD to see.

It's going to be a busy year, so you better start saving up your money now!

Remember to check back in January to get your hands on the posters for these movies.

January 8

The Revenant

Adventure

The Revenant's got Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy. Still need more reason to watch? The movie's based on the true events of a man who was left for dead after being attacked by a bear back in the 1820's. After waking up alone, he sets out to get vengeance against those who left him and to find his son.

The Forest

Psychological Thriller

At the bottom of Mt. Fuji, there's a real forest where people go to commit suicide, which in the movie is full of terrible things that come out after dark. The main character (played by Natalie Dormer) goes into the forest to find her twin sister and refuses to leave until she does.

Diablo (Limited)

Western

January 8th seems to be all about finding people because in Diablo, the main character is on a mission to find his wife who has been taken from him.

January 15

Ride Along 2

Comedy

This movie promises to be just as funny as the last.  The soon to be brothers in law head down to Miami to shut down the drug dealers.

January 22

Dirty Grandpa

Comedy

Zac Efron and Robert De Niro are headed down to Spring Break in this hilarious movie. If you liked The Neighbors (which is getting a sequel later this year) then chances are you're going to want to see this one too.

The 5th Wave

Sci-Fi

Who doesn't love a good apocalypse movie? Aliens have found Earth and are giving us everything they've got. The first four attacks have left people with no power, major earthquakes, and disease. Now the aliens are taking humans on as hosts and everyone has to figure out how to survive.

Which movie are you the most excited for? What did I miss?
