New Shows Fall 2016
Posted by Allison Cianci on 9th Sep 2016
I might not be happy that fall weather is coming, but fall TV is another story. A bunch of the new shows that looked really good aren't starting until mid-season for some reason, but here are a few starting within the next month or so that you should definitely check out. Let me know which you'll be giving a chance and which shows I left off my list you're excited about.
Bull - CBS
Tuesdays @ 9
Starts: 9/20
Bull is the only new show this season that I have actually seen promotions for EVERYWHERE. Usually that means it's not going to be that good, but the story looks interesting so I'll give it a try. There are a million different lawyer/crime shows, but I can't think of any that really focus on the jury.
Conviction - ABC
Mondays @ 10
Starts: 10/3
The show's got a good cast of familiar faces and looks like it'll be a good mix of comedy and drama. It's another law type show, which seems to be big this season, but I have a feeling this one might do better than some of the others.
Man With A Plan - CBS
Mondays @ 8:30
Starts: 10/24
Okay, so this one does look a little cringe. It'll be weird to watch Matt Leblanc as a dad, but it looks like it could be funny. I'll at least watch the pilot.
This is Us - NBC
Tuesdays @ 10
Starts: 9/20
This is the show I am most excited for out of all of them. Milo Ventimiglia being in it is enough to get me to give it a chance, and then all the different stories shown in the trailer look so interesting, how can I not watch? This trailer gave away, what looks like a lot of the story, so I'll be interested to see what it'll be like.
Better Things - FX
Thursdays @ 10
Starts: 9/8
The first episode of Better Things has already premiered, I just haven't had the chance to watch it yet. It should be funny though with a more real life feel than a sitcom would have.
