Super Bowl 50's Funniest Ads
Posted by Allison Cianci on 8th Feb 2016
The Super Bowl is the one time of the year where people actually care about commercials. So much so that we (yes, I'm guilty of this too) go onto Youtube and go through all the videos in AdBlitz. If you missed them during the big game, watch the funniest commercials Super Bowl 50 had to offer--without having to sit through the ones that aren't.
Doritos "Ultrasound" + "Doritos Dogs"
I feel like Doritos always wins during the Super Bowl, and this year they didn't disappoint. Both of their commercials were some of the funniest in the whole bunch.
Avocados From Mexico "#AvosInSpace"
Not entirely sure what this commercial has to do with avocados...but I did love all the references. I wish they would go further with this idea and have more commercials, but I've never seen an ad from them before, so I doubt it.
United Healthcare "Delivery"
Who would have thought a healthcare company would make a funny commercial? Movie references are always a good idea in my opinion!
Heinz "Wiener Stampede"
How can you not enjoy watch little hot dogs dressed as hot dogs?!? They're adorable and the fact that the people are dressed as Heinz products is perfect.
Hyundai "First Date" + "Ryanville"
Probably my favorite from this year. Kevin Hart is funny in almost everything he does, and I think his next movie needs to be him playing the over protective dad!
Usually car commercials are boring, so finding a way to make it better with a bunch of Ryan Reynolds clones is definitely a win.
Bud Light "The Bud Light Party"
First, yes we should all agree that Paul Rudd is the best! And second, everything else about this commercial is also the best. I love the combo of the actors and the jokes are pretty funny.
Marmot Mountains "Love the Outside"
I loved this commercial, especially considering it's coming from a brand I've never heard of before. It's such a great idea, and I love the line at the end!
T-Mobile "Restricted Bling" + Drop the Balls"
Honestly, I'm not the biggest fan of Drake, BUT he was really funny in this commercial, and it was a great concept.
Steve Harvey...someone had to do it.
Mountain Dew "Puppymonkeybaby"
I wasn't sure where to add Mountain Dew's terrifying Puppymonkeybaby commercial, so I'm just going to stick it on the end. I wouldn't say it's a good commercial...but it was funny. In an extremely creepy way. I don't know who came up with this idea, but they probably shouldn't be allowed to create creatures. Ever.
